Slices of vegan cheese cut from a block of cheese on a wooden board based on Sam's Recipe Book's Vegan Cheese Recipes

Did you know you can make your own vegan cheese? I discovered a few easy vegan cheese recipes you can use to make vegan cheese with different types of ingredients and other alternatives as a base. These include tofu, cashew nuts, potatoes and/or parsnip. I have seen others adding various combinations of coconut milk, peanut, tapioca, yam or sweet potato to the base ingredients. But most recipes use cashew nuts, cassava and potatoes or tofu.

All vegan cheese recipes use sprinkles to give texture and sometimes include seasonings such as nutmeg or paprika. They also sometimes include sweet and sour starch, and mix salt and water with the other ingredients and seasonings

Freeze your veagn cheese for a few hours first if you want to slice it or grate it. You can also be add it to your pizzas, sandwiches, risotto, mac and cheese, etc.
