Air Fryer Rice Cakes Recipe

This air fryer rice cakes recipe is a much healthier version of rice cakes than the fried version. Its quick and easy to make and quite versatile as well. You can choose a wide range of fillings including bacon, pepperoni or cheese.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Rice Cakes Recipe

  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp wheat flour
  • 150g mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 Tbso minced parsley
  • ½ Tbsp chemical yeast
  • 200 g smoked calabrese sausage, cubed
  • 100 g mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Ingredients

Mix the rice with the eggs and add the spices. Add the wheat flour and the grated mozzarella. Then add the baking soda and stir slowly until everything is well combined.

Form into small round pieces and one by one, stuff each piece of dough with cheese and calabrese sausage or your choice of filling. Close each dough and form into balls.

Bake in the air fryer at 180C for 15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
