My love for the diverse world of culinary processes goes back to December 1996 when I discovered the recipe for a Fruit Cake. It was Christmas, my late Aunt was a baker, she had a lot of orders for fruit cakes and she needed extra hands. I opted in to help, fell in love with baking and gradually immersed myself in the culinary world of cooking and baking techniques, ingredients, flavors and recipes.
I especially fell in love with quick and easy recipes. because sometimes, they ironically produce the best results. We will explore a collection of straightforward, fuss-free recipes perfect for people with busy lives, tight schedules and having to juggle work and family. Or do you simply prefer spending less time in the kitchen? These quick and easy meals are perfect – minimal ingredients, simple steps and fast cooking times without sacrificing flavor for convenience as they deliver maximum taste with minimal effort.
As a home cook, I will be sharing great ideas, cooking tips, some nutritional information and a lot of helpful hints for home cooks like me. Some of these recipes have inspired joy and confidence in my kitchen. We will explore chicken, beef, pasta, puddings, pies, seafood, chocolate, vegetables, soups and sauces, appetizers, main courses, desserts, drinks and much more from Asia, Europe, Africa, America and the Middle East.
